Key Responsibilities
Job Summary
Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Also, the Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible in coordinating daily housekeeping operations and maintaining the housekeeping operating standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Checking the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
- Being aware of all room categories and amenities to ensure that every guest room have a uniformed set-up.
- Inspecting guest bedrooms routinely to ensure they meet standards and to avoid complaints.
- Providing high quality cleaning of guestrooms to achieve the expectations and needs of every guest in the hotel.
- Managing guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
- Handling guest concerns and complaints regarding room issues.
- Ensuring the corridors and heart of the house areas are well-maintained.
- Achieving positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Designating room and cleaning tasks to team members.
- Supervising Room Attendants to ensure that the operation is surely done well.
- Ensuring the smooth operations of the floor assigned.
- Organizing and facilitating the room making process to achieve the expectations of the guest.
- Ensuring that the entire operation is performed as per the laid standards.
- Carrying out lost and found procedures to avoid conflicts related to lost guest belongings.
- Reporting maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department to ensure that it will be done/fix immediately.
- Updating reports on the system. Making sure that all required quota/side duties are consistently met.
- Reporting discrepancy upon checking of the rooms.
- Ensuring proper work monitoring through the Room Attendant’s (RA) worksheet reports and tasks list monitoring sheets.
- Ensuring that the RA’s have cleaned before they leave their designated areas.
- Ensuring to check and sign every worksheet of the RA’s before they leave the hotel.
- Organizing immediately the guest needs under instructions of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

Experience
- Experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel
- 3 years of experience in Housekeeping with 1 year as a Team Leader or Supervisor
