Key Responsibilities
Job Summary
Director of Marketing and Communication holds an executive position of overseeing all aspects of a company’s image or product marketing and facilitating and enhancing the company’s relationships with other businesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a role model and play a strategic role within the organization to impact company-wide decisions.
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations plan that will enhance the Organization’s image.
- Streamline all Organization marketing, communications and public relations activities and Materials, including publications, media relations, client acquisition, etc.
- Ensure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and public.
- Conducts market research to determine the needs and interests to align with the company’s existing products.
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all Organization publications.
- Coordinate media interest in the Organization and ensure regular contact with the target media and appropriate responses to media requests.
- Act as the Organization’s representative with the media.
- Coordinate the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, logo, brochures, etc.
- Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist in marketing and communication.
- Provide counsel to the Team on marketing, communications and public relations.
- Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinates and oversees this activity. Monitor trends.
- Leads projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.
- Responsible for achieving marketing/communications/public relations mission,
- goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems relate to these goals and objectives and report progress to the executive office and board.
- Explores and adapts to new channels, methods, and platforms to optimise marketing communications.
- Oversee advertising, branding, and product promotion in all marketing and media mediums.
- Oversee planning for trade shows and conferences to showcase products.
- Develops budgets and internal and external resources for communication program delivery.

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree related to marketing, sales or advertising.
- Experience in a luxury brand or marketing and advertising company
- 5 to 7 years of managerial experience.
