Key Responsibilities

Job Summary 

In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of The Lind Hotels, the Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s sales and marketing plan to achieve revenue goals. This role is also required in conducting market research, analyzing data and creating and delivering sales presentations to potential clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers, increase bookings, and maximize revenue. This includes setting sales targets, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Showcase the unique features and amenities of the luxury resort to prospective customers. 
  • Coordinate promotional activities, attend trade shows, and engage in networking events to increase brand awareness and generate leads. 
  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and provide exceptional customer service. 
  • Set sales goals, provide training and development opportunities,
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers. Understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a seamless booking process. 
  • Conducting market research and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand. Conduct regular market analysis to identify new target markets, assess customer preferences, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance analysis to monitor progress towards targets. Use data and insights to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure a personalized and memorable guest experience by coordinating with other departments, such as reservations, concierge, and guest services. Address guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to sales and customer service. 
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies, monitor competitor rates, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue from room bookings, events, and other resort offerings.
  • Maintain the resort’s high-quality standards and ensure compliance with brand guidelines, customer service protocols, and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in related position;
  • Hospitality/Tourism or other Business Management related course;
  • Can work effectively under time pressure

Experience

  • Experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel.
  • Experience in resort or 5 star hotel chain in hotel Sales operations.
